BBQ at the Bay View Model Block Project with Architecture for Humanity San Francisco

Join Architecture for Humanity’s San Francisco Chapter for a street party and BBQ, featuring street painting and live music! In conjunction with the San Francisco Redevelopment Agency, Office of the Mayor, and the Community Challenge Grant, AFH San Francisco is designing a neighborhood community center for this site, scheduled to break ground in 2008. A full scale mock-up of the mini-park will be on display created with greenery from nearby events.

SFMOMA Behind the Scenes Architecture + Design Tour

Meet at SFMOMA, Minna Street Entrance (between Third and New Montgomery Streets), San Francisco Don't miss this rare, behind the scenes glimpse of SFMOMA's private storage facilities led by Assistant Curator of Architecture and Design, Darrin Alfred, and Sr. Associate Registrar Heather McNally. Starting at the loading dock, the tour visits various lower areas of the museum not usually open to the public, including pieces from the A+D collection currently being stored, and offers insights into the collection as well as information on how artwork moves through the building.
